Can you continue a relationship after your partner moves out?

My girlfriend’s moving out but we’re not breaking up. Five months ago we moved in together and she thinks that we moved in too fast.
I think if she wants to take a step back like this, she’s not serious about our future. Do you think this is a bad sign for our future together?
