The second-tallest roller coaster in the world is closing for good. The Top Thrill Dragster coaster at Ohio’s Cedar Point amusement park will be closing permanently after being closed for over a year. The closure comes after an August 2021 incident that involved a metal piece coming off of the coaster and striking a woman in the head. The Top Thrill Dragster measured 420 feet high. The Kingda Ka roller coaster at Six Flags in Jackson Township, New Jersey is currently the tallest coaster at 456 feet high. Would you ride a roller coaster that has had issues in the past? What is the scariest roller coaster you have been on?
