Smashing Pumpkins brought something new to the opening night of their ‘Spirits On Fire’ tour with Jane’s Addiction. The band opened the Dallas show with the newly-released “Empires” from their upcoming album ATUM. They also debuted two brand new songs, “Neophyte” and “Harmageddon”, as well as a cover of the Talking Heads classic “Once In A Lifetime”. The band will make two more stops in Texas this week, playing Houston on Monday and Austin on Wednesday before moving on to Tampa, Florida on Friday.
